I tried to turn on my
Direct TV system on Monday June 15,2009 only to find out that the system was not working and I am greatly puzzled as to why. I have my monthly payment for the service automatically deducted from my
Checking Account, have had that payment system for some time with no apparent difficulty. I attempted to use my Visa Debit Card to restore the service but was told that that method of payment couldn't be accepted. I did pay using my
Checking Account information(the Visa Debit Card takes
money out of my
checking account) and that mode of payment was accepted. Please tell me what's going on! I have relied on the system for several years with No Trouble until this morning! Please contact me at the

How long had it been since you used that DirectTV box? I have three boxes, and one of those is in my motorhome. When I don't use it for for approximately a month, it is automatically disableled by DirectTV...for security reasons, and I have to call them to turn the box on.
There is a way to do it by using their 1-800 number.
